Microsoft Reflect is a digital wellbeing tool that allows students to share their emotions, feelings, and learning experiences through customizable check-ins. It helps instructors gauge student engagement, emotional state, and overall classroom climate.
Adding Reflect to Your Course
In your course, click on Open Microsoft Education on the Details and Actions pane on the right side of your course.
Choose Reflect
Configure your Reflect check-in settings
Creating Check-ins
Question Types: Choose from emotion-based, engagement-focused, or custom prompts
Frequency: Set up daily, weekly, or event-specific check-ins
Privacy Settings: Determine whether responses are anonymous or identified
Response Options: Use emojis, text, or scale-based responses
Access and Share
Both students and faculty can access the Class Notebook in the same way.
In your course, click Open Microsoft Education on the Details and Actions pane on the right side of your course.
Click on Reflect to access it.
Alternatively, you can share and post the link in your course with a link, in your announcements, or share a QR code in your PowerPoint.
