Blackboard Bingo Bash 2026

🍂 Fall into Bingo is our semester-long faculty challenge where completing digital teaching and technology tasks earns you squares on a digital bingo card.

🎯 Every Tuesday and Thursday starting September 1, we reveal a new tile. Complete the task, submit your evidence, and mark your square.

🎁 Prizes include Blackboard swag and gift cards. Supplies are limited, so the sooner you hit Bingo, the better your chances of winning. First to Bingo, first to choose.

📣 New tiles are announced here and in UNotes, so keep an eye out each week!

📅 The game begins on Tuesday, September 1. All tiles will be revealed by November 19, but you have until mid-December to complete any squares you haven't finished yet. Some tasks may not apply to your course until later in the semester, and that's okay. Take your time, work through your card, and claim your Bingo before the deadline.

📬 Step 1: Get Your Link - When the game opens, we will share a unique link via UNotes and on this page. No account or sign-up required.

🃏 Step 2: Join and Set Up Your Board - Click the link and then click Join (Create Personal Board). 

• When prompted, enter your first and last name so we can identify winners and make sure prizes get to the right person. 

• Refresh the page and your name will appear in the right panel. 

• Every player gets a randomized board, so no two cards are exactly alike. 

• Bookmark the page for easy access throughout the semester. If you ever lose access, contact us at actech@hartford.edu and we will send you a direct link.

📅 Step 3: Watch for Tile Announcements - Every Tuesday and Thursday starting September 1, we will call out a new tile here on this page and on UNotes. A square can only be marked on or after the date its tile is called. There is no deadline for completing individual tiles as long as you finish before the game ends in December.

This means if you start playing in November, you can complete every tile called up to that point and claim a Bingo the same day if your board lines up. It also means you cannot claim a Bingo using a tile that has not been called yet, even if you have already completed the task. The draw dates are what determine when Bingo is possible.

✅ Step 4: Complete the Task and Submit Your Evidence - Once a tile is called, complete the task and then head back to your board to mark it complete! Click the tile and you will be prompted to submit your evidence for completion. Once submitted, that square is yours! 

Make sure your evidence clearly shows you completed the task. The clearer your submission, the faster we can verify it and keep your game moving and the prizes coming!

🏆 Step 5: Call Your Bingo! Complete a row, column, or diagonal and you are a winner! 🎊 Once you hit Bingo, email us at actech@hartford.edu to claim your prize. We will be keeping an eye on the board, but emailing us directly is the fastest way to make sure you get your prize without any delays.
