How to use the Math/Equation Editor

Step 1: Select the math assignment from the Blackboard Course

Step 2: Select the "View instruction" button

Step 3: Select the "Insert content" icon over at the top right of the text box and click on "ƒ(x) Math."  The equation editor will then load. 

Step 4: Once the equation editor is open, you can click on any of the symbols and they will be inserted. 

Step 5: Each tab has different options for math functions. From matrices to calculus all of the math bases are covered.

Step 6: Write out your equations or just your answers. Make sure you hit the "Insert" button when complete. 

Step 7: Click on the "Submit" button
