Creating groups in Blackboard is a useful tool. If you want certain students to work together on something, or want to randomly assign students to groups you can. You can give out different assignments that are specific to the groups made.
How to Create Groups
Step 1: Select the "groups" tab at the top of your course
Step 2: Then Select "New Group Set"
Step 3: From here you can select on the students and create your own groups, or you can select the drop down menu next to "Group students."
Step 4: Simply select the students for one group and click on the three dots to the right and select "create a new group."
Step 5: If you would rather randomly assign groups you can click the "Randomly assign" button.
Step 6: Click the save button at the bottom right of the screen. Now you have successfully created groups for your course.
