Anonymous Grading is a new feature to blackboard which allows the instructor to turn off the students names on the submissions. This ensures fair grading by reducing the potential for grading bias. Student names are hidden while you grade, and they’re revealed only after you post the grades.

Step 1: Before you post your assignment, click on the gear icon.
Step 2a: Scroll down to the "Grading & Submissions" section and select the box underneath Anonymous grading.
Step 2b: If you have already received submissions on an assignment, you cannot change to anonymous Grading
